Filter replacement step by step guide:

1. Twist the filter 1/4 turn to the left(counterclockwise.)

2. Unlock and pull down.
If the old filter is difficult to remove there maybe water pressure built up.
In this case take out two top shelves of the refrigerator and pull old filter down hard

 

2. Push new filter into the housing.

3. Turn new samsung water filter for refrigerator to the right(clockwise) You’ll know it’s locked in  place when the pad lock symbol matches up with the arrow

5. Run water through the dispenser for 5 minutes to purge the system.
6. Check the filter area for leaks.
7  After installing new filter be sure to press the water filter reset button to reset the filter indicator.

Note: Holding reset button for 5 seconds will cancel reset process. If this happens, release the buttons and start over.
